Mashed up funk is the brainchild of a german producer who will remain nameless for legal reasons. A1 cuts up the vocal of MJ's Billie Jean over a funk fuelled breakbeat. Unlike Bushwacka's homage of 2 years ago the backing track is completely ditched in favour of a rougher feel with cuts and scratches flying under the funk loop. A2 delivers a similar treatment to Jamiroquai's Canned Heat with cool strings providing a lush break from the driving bass. B1 cuts up perennial booty fave Eric B & Rakim's Let The Rhythm Hit Em while b2 cranks a disco loop under Beastie Boy's Ch-Ch-Check It Out.
